Sanvers et Cotton Cotes de Brouilly

Having been in the Sanvers family since 1856, the Domaine became Sanvers and Cotton when Evelyne Sanvers and Guy Cotton got together in 1979.  The wine comes from their 8 hectares of estate vineyards…all hand picked and hand sorted before being fermented in neutral oak barrels.  The grapes undergo a full carbonic maceration before they are pressed.

In terms of wine-making they practice traditional methods, using no chemical pesticides in the vineyard, no chemicals in the winery and fermentation takes place with ambient yeasts.  Guy and Evelyne’s son, Pierre intends to have the vineyards organically certified.
